Race for Kids - Training/Race Prep

Training/Race Prep

How are you supposed to train for Capital One Race for Kids™ when you don't know the Challenges you'll be completing?

You can't.

We're not going to give away the Challenges, but past events have included: blindfolded kayaking, test-driving cars, and firefighter crossfit. If you can imagine it, it's possible it will be in the Race.

The most important thing you and your team can prepare for is to come with an open mind and be ready for the unexpected. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for running around, and get lots of sleep the night before. It's a hard Race, but it's a fun Race!

The Challenges do not give advantages for specific skills or attributes. All participants will have a level playing field to complete the tasks, regardless of age, gender, nationality, income or religion and will be challenged to be creative, develop new skills and work together to complete the Race.
