National Kick-Off Event

On Thursday, May 30, 2013, 40 teams of four will gather for our second annual Capital One Race for Kids™ National Kick-Off. The Capital One Race for Kids™ National Kick-Off is designed to provide corporations with fun and exciting team building opportunities for their employees, ways to engage your clients and suppliers in corporate team challenges and a fantastic opportunity for you to have fun and make a significant difference in the lives of young people across Canada.

The Capital One Race for Kids™ National Kick-off event begins at 5:00 p.m. with the Race warm up and opening ceremonies.  At 6:00 p.m. the Race officially begins! 

Participants will work together to solve clues and complete tasks at ten different checkpoints – receiving a token for every checkpoint successfully completed.  Each token has a letter on the back and is the final task to complete the race.  As the team races toward the finish line, they will work together to decipher the mystery 10-letter word by unscrambling the letters.

At the end of the Race all teams will gather back at the finish line for a celebration party which includes a BBQ and concert, not to mention, AWARDS for top teams and top fundraisers.
