Q: How do I receive a charitable tax receipt?
A: If you are donating online, an electronic tax receipt should be sent to your email immediately. For offline donations, BGCC will need to process your donation forms and will then mail your tax receipt to the address indicated on your registration form.
Q: When are tax receipts sent out?
A: Online donations will receive an electronic tax receipt immediately. For offline donations, BGCC will issue tax receipts within 20-30 business days of receiving your donation form, along with the funds collected.
Q: What assurance do I have that my information is secure?
A: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada adheres to guidelines that have been defined by the Government of Canada through the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act (PIPEDA). BGCC websites that require personal information have an online security feature that protects your information. Refer to our
privacy policy for more information.
Q: What do I do if I don’t receive a tax receipt?
A: If you have not received a tax receipt, please
contact your local Boys and Girls Club.
Q: Do I get a tax receipt for paying my registration fee?
A: No. Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada is not able to issue a tax receipt for registration fees.
